I have this same trimmer. Every time I try to use it as edger, it eventually shuts off I guess because turning it prevents gas from getting to motor. Once I turn rightside, it works fine again.

just make sure you understand what warranty you are buying ( as a employee) there are PRP plans ( Product replacement plans ) and PSP ( product service plans) PSP plans get sent out to be fixed/repair tech sent out to order parts and PRP plans gives you a gift card for what you paid, i use this alot for gaming headsets, keyboards, seasonal items like ac units and heaters. basically anything that i know they are going to have a new/better unit out next year that i can swap out for just the new protection plan cost . Just saying this because i have had so many customers say i got the warranty i get a new one.
